What kind of camper are you?
Are you passionate about camping or could you do without it? Everyone that decides to go camping may have their own idea or perception of what a camping trip may be, from roughing it in the back country, camping in a provincial or national park to staying in one of the many private campgrounds. What comes to your mind if hubby mentions the word “camping”? Do you get a vision in your head sitting around the campfire, roasting marshmallows and gazing up at the millions of stars in the sky, or do you run away screaming!! Or maybe your response is “Oh great honey, can I help you pack. Oh and when are you leaving”?
The thing is there are so many styles of camping. If you are a camper or someone who has camped in the past, you may love camping. You might even be very enthusiastic about your next camping adventure or maybe you could really do without it, preferring instead to take a vacation at a five star resort with all the perks. Or you may choose to not go on a vacation at all, you make plans to just stay home and get caught up on things, a good old stay-cation.
There are many ways to get out there and enjoy the great outdoors; you may want to stay in a tent, preferring to keep things simple. Car tenting is another way to go, having the tent attached to your car for added convenience and safety. Or you might want to stay in a trailer or RV. With all the options today from the super-lite teardrop trailers, the ultra-lites and on up to the 5th wheelers with all the whistles and amenities, there is something for everyone. Then there are the people who have a trailer at a trailer park, basically classed as a cheap cottage, a spot that one may call a home away from home.
So, whatever is your passion; camping or not, or that holiday on a tropical island…just enjoy the moment, take lots of pictures and make memories that last a lifetime.
Just my rambling thought of the day,
