About Us

Hi there, this blogging is all new to us so please bear with us if we seem to ramble on.

Last year we started a business selling truck tents  which gave us the opportunity to get out and travel around Ontario promoting our tents.  We soon discovered the best way to promote the tents was to go camping and show the tent in use.  So now we are once again hooked on taking road trips and camping in the many Provincial Parks this great country of ours has to offer.

We will be sharing our stories, reviews and pictures of the parks we camp in with you and hope you enjoy our outdoor adventures enough to maybe plan one of your own. (and maybe I’ll sell a tent or 2 as well)

So, that said I hope you come back and follow us in our travels.

Thanks for visiting, Rod & Heather

Very good business technique. What I have heard is true, show the people that what you are selling is good and of good quality by using them and they will surely believe you. That is one thing that catches prospect clients.

Hi:

We have a new app at the iTunes store (“Camp Where”) that features an interactive map of all public campgrounds in the US AND CANADA (over 10,000). It has lots of info about each campground with phone numbers and links to reservations and other information. There is nothing else quite like at and, 1t $4.99 it is a great deal. Works great on the iPad and iPod Touch too.

We hope that you will review it. If you need a promo code to get a free copy, just let me know.

Here is a link to it:

We have the same data on a great web site too:

Thanks for your help.

We look forward to hearing about your travels! A great online resource is http://www.campsitereports.com. Campers can find photos, videos, ratings, and reviews of National parks, provincial parks, and private campgrounds, as well as individual campsites. It would be great to see some reviews of the places you guys visit.

I am rather new to the family camping experience and still trying to figure out how to make the packing and unpacking take less time than the actual camping trip! Watching other campers and reading blogs have helped with determining what to cook, what to bring and how to simplify the process.

Last year, however, I was determined to develop a product that worked better. Introducing Gear Pockets! I designed and produced a line of organizers that are perfect for our family camping trips and wanted to share them with you. I can put three kids clothing for a weekend in The Original and roll it up. When we get to camp, we hang up the pocket and each child can find their clothes and not sift through dirty duffel bags. Moreover, we have another one by the camp fire. Now when we are ready to serve up, the plates, silverware, salt, pepper and napkins are always easy to reach- and they don’t blow away!

Please take a minute and check our products http://www.gearpockets.com. If you like what you see, I would love to have you share the information with your readers. Have a great day.

Hello, great site, love the truck tents! On the topic of camping and outdoor safety, I wanted to let you know about our new website, www. TrekALERT.com . TrekALERT creates a virtual safety net for outdoor enthusiasts of all types. With TrekALERT, users can securely post an online itinerary and send it to a few of their contacts, letting them know where they’re going, when they’re departing/returning, and how they plan on getting there. Best of all, it’s free! Our hope is to reach out to sites and blogs like yours and let everyone know about this potentially life-saving service. Please visit http://www.TrekALERT.com or http://www.facebook.com/trekSAFE and, if you like what you see, give it a try and pass the word along. Thanks, and remember to TrekSAFE!

Very interesting site! Look forward to reading about your ventures. In addition to Provincial Parks and National Parks, there are a large number of campgrounds owned and operated by cities, towns and service organization such as Lions Clubs, Kiwanis, etc. You can visit http://www.thecampersway.ca to get a complete listing of these campgrounds in both Canada and the US.
